Common Questions

Frequently asked

Payment is due in full at the time of registration for each season. This secures your child's spot. We accept all major credit cards through our registration platform.
Full refunds are available up to 7 days before the season begins. After that, we offer a credit toward a future season in cases of injury or illness with documentation. We do not offer refunds for missed individual sessions.
San Diego weather is on our side — but when a session is cancelled due to weather, one makeup session is included per season, scheduled at the end of the season. Additional cancellations are handled with a prorated credit toward the next season.
No — and this is one of the things we're most intentional about. Rise tracks each player individually. Returning players receive curriculum that builds on what they've already learned, not a repeat of the same material. The goal is continuous, real development — not a revolving-door program parents need to rotate out of.
We prefer full-season enrollment so kids build progressively. In rare cases where a spot opens mid-season, we'll prorate the fee for remaining sessions. Contact us directly if this applies.
Athletic shoes, comfortable athletic clothing, and a water bottle. We provide all basketballs and equipment. Your child does not need to own a basketball to participate.
Yes. Add your child to the waitlist through our registration form and we'll contact you immediately if a spot opens, or as soon as we confirm an additional session day is being added.
